It is the festival which especially stands for a sister’s love and brother’s affection.  Though every one of us had some days which were full of fights with our sisters and brothers, we all stand to await all year long and celebrate with immense zeal. Raksha stands for protection and Bandhan stands for a bond. A sister ties rakhi on the wrist of her brother with inexpressible love and she offers a sweet to him which is meant to say – a blissful life is about to start.

In response to this love, brothers feel it's their responsibility to protect their sisters. At this love sharing moments, brothers bestow small gifts to sisters in order to show their affection. We know that “ Little things mean a lot “ These small gifts are to remind their love and togetherness.

Listening to all this, you might get a doubt- from when does it begin the tradition of celebrating Rakshabandhan.

It was the time, Lord Indra was about to go into the battle, but he was feeling a little anxiety. Then his wife tied a sacred thread to his wrist with the hope of protection.

He was then succeeded in every aspect. All this happened as a reflection of love shown by the wife of Indra. From then, the tradition of celebrating Rakshabandhan became festival for loved ones.

So, celebrate your pious bond with your brothers and sisters, holding great love.

Hope all of you, build an ineffable celebration zone for this Rakshabandhan!
